Q: What makes the SoapJet so special?
A: The patented Soapjet is the only product that combines soap and water in the palm of your hand. Other products mix soap with water but ONLY the Soapjet gives you the option of spraying JUST water or JUST soap and ability to switch between the two instantly. Sometimes you just want to spray full strength soap on a trouble spot or into your scrub brush or mit and the Soapjet makes that very easy to do.
Q:What kind of soap do you recommend?
A: Almost any soap that can be pumped through the Soapjet will work. If your soap is too thick, just dilute it with water to make it a bit thinner. We have had great luck with Turtle Wax’s “ZipWax” liquid soap.
Q: Do you have any special tips or hints for using the Soapjet?
A: Check out our video for a live demo of the Soapjet in action. Although the Soapjet will mix soap with water in any spray pattern, you will get the best mixing with the water trigger fully depressed full maximum water flow. The best way to “soap up” an object is to point the SoapJet at the object with the water trigger fully depressed…then while sweeping the Soapjet back and forth, simply pump the soap trigger to inject soap into the stream. Using this method, it doesn’t take much to “broadcast” soap over a large object. It is best to aim at the top of the object so that the soap can run down over it. Once the vehicle is covered with soap, wet your sponge or wash mit and “charge” it with some full strength soap. Now, with the Soapjet in one hand (misting some water) and the mit in the other, move your way down the vehicle. Since the vehicle is already coated with some soapy water and you are constantly misting with the SoapJet, the dirt is “floated” off the surface instead of rubbed into it causing scratches. If at any time you need more soap in your mit, just give a quick squirt and keep moving. Of course, you can also, re-soap the entire vehicle whenever you want. When it’s time to rinse, just step back and hit it with water alone!
Q: Will the SoapJet wash my vehicle for me?
A: NO! Nothing will…not even high powered pressure washers (which can destroy a car or boat’s finish) will wash a vehicle for you…sorry. You still have to agitate the surface with a wash mit, sponge or brush to loosen the dirt. The SoapJet’s pupose is to eliminate the need to keep bending down into a bucket of soapy water with your sponge or brush. The Soapjet covers the object with the soap quickly and easily so you can move right along without stopping and bending.
Q:How can I use the SoapJet to remove salt from a boat.
A:This is where the Soapjet really shines. Fill the Soapjet with your favorite boat soap, stand back and “broadcast” (see question above for special tips) a soapy mixture over the entire boat starting at the top. Allow the soap to dwell on the surface for a minute or two and then rinse thoroughly…once again from top to bottom. We have found that scrubbing is not necessary to remove salt residue from the surface. That’s it…you’re done!
